Battle Lines: The Bullpen

At one time, it was thought that the only saving grace the Nationals had was their bullpen. Now, their bullpen is in need of saving and could be the weak spot of their 2009 club. So, just who do the Nationals have to pick from for relief?

The Nationals took a couple of hits to their bullpen last season. Chad Cordero broke down early, missed the rest of the season and is now a free agent. Luis Ayala showed himself to be on the downside of his career and was dealt to the Mets for Anderson Hernandez.
