Ian Desmond

"Ian Desmond is another one that just looks amazing. He didn't put up the numbers like someone like Casto did, but he really looks like a big time player down the road. He did a lot for us offensively and defensively."

- Potomac Nationals Pitcher, Devin Perrin

"The guy that really impressed me was Ian Desmond. He really looks like a special player. He is still really young and I think he’s just going to be an unbelievable player."

- Potomac Nationals First Baseman, Josh Whitesell

"Yes, he has some high error totals that might scare people, but you have to remember that he gets to balls that no one else could think about getting. So, naturally, his errors totals are going to be high. While I had him in Savannah, he looked fantastic at shortstop."

- Savannah Sand Gnat Manager, Randy Knorr

Kory Casto

"The guy that stands out to everyone it seems is Kory Casto. What he did this season was pretty hard to ignore. He really impressed me a lot and I think he impressed a lot of other people too."

- Potomac Nationals Pitcher, Devin Perrin

Josh Whitesell

"Josh Whitesell [is a sleeper], definitely. All he does is put up really good numbers. He plays a good defensive first base too. He can pick it a little bit over there and he just doesn't ever get the spotlight. He's also got some pop. He's a big guy."

- Potomac Nationals Third Baseman, Kory Casto

Frank Diaz

"Frank Diaz [has the highest upside]. He had such an awesome year. It was really phenomenal. He was just so consistent all year. Diaz plays such great defense too, which a lot of people ignore. He's a grinder. He comes out to play every single day. I think he's a Lance Berkman type, you know. He doesn't have the big physical presence and he doesn't look all that fast. He just goes out there and finds a way to put up the numbers."

- Potomac Nationals Third Baseman, Kory Casto

"The guy that stands out is Frank Diaz. He is just a tremendous all around player. He has a big future I think."

- Potomac Nationals First Baseman, Josh Whitesell

Michael O'Connor

"Michael O'Connor [was the most impressive] just because of the way he finished the season. He doesn't have overpowering stuff but he locates his fastball well and he has a really good curveball."

- Potomac Nationals Third Baseman, Kory Casto
