"Splitsville" is a series of articles on the Nationals' prospects that we'll be doing throughout their minor league careers. In version one/chapter one (v1.1) of Kory Casto, we'll look how he did against the right-handed pitchers versus the southpaws, how he hit with runners in scoring position, and more.

No Slouch Versus Southpaws: For the season, Kory Casto compiled a solid .290 batting average; however, he didn't boost that average just by tearing up right-handed pitching. In fact, the lefty slugger hit .291 off southpaw pitching and .291 against righty pitching as well. And, in 179 at bats off of lefties, Kory smacked 13 doubles and 7 home runs.
