Thad Weber and Matt Hoffman combined to allow two runs in the eighth to break a tie game. Weber allowed two runs (one earned) over 7 2/3 innings and picked up the loss. Argenis Diaz led the Toledo offense, going 4-for-4 with two runs scored, while Ben Guez went 1-for-3 with a double, two walks and an RBI.

Patrick Cooper gave up two earned runs on five hits over seven innings, but picked up the loss without much help from the offense. Rawley Bishop led the SeaWolves, going 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the ninth, while Jamie Johnson went 1-for-2 with two walks. David Kopp gave up one earned run in two innings of relief.

Brian Stroud allowed just one hit over six scoreless innings in the start and left with a 2-0 lead. Shawn Teufel pitched a scoreless seventh, but the first two batters reached in the eighth. Matt Little came in and walked back-to-back batters and was pulled in favor of Victor Larez. The result was a four-run inning that saw Little pick up the loss and Larez record a blown save. At the plate, Daniel Fields went 2-for-4, while Tyler Collins went 1-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored.
